Reporting abuse

• Open the page you're concerned about.
• Scroll to the bottom and choose Report.
• Pick the closest reason and add details — a specific link or a screenshot description helps a lot.
• Submit. You'll see a confirmation immediately; there's nothing else to do.

Reasons you can choose from:

• Spam or misleading
• Phishing or scam
• Malware or harmful link
• Impersonation
• Adult or explicit content
• Hate speech or harassment
• Something else

• The report enters a moderation queue with a status of Pending.
• A moderator reviews it and moves it to Reviewing while they investigate.
• A decision is recorded as Resolved or Dismissed, and always requires a written reason.
• If we act, the page owner is emailed an explanation of what changed and why.

A page that attracts several distinct reports is automatically flagged for review and removed from the Explore directory in the meantime. Flagging is a prompt for a human to look — nothing is ever taken down automatically.

We prioritise by harm. Reports involving child safety, credible threats of violence, or active phishing and malware are handled first and escalated immediately. Spam and content-policy reports are worked through in order.

linkva.se screens every link at the moment it is saved: dangerous URL schemes are refused outright, private and internal addresses are blocked, and destinations are checked against a blocklist of domains associated with phishing, malware and spam. Link shorteners, raw IP addresses, punycode lookalikes and nested redirect parameters are flagged for moderator review even when they're allowed through.

If you find a harmful destination we haven't caught, report the page and mention the domain. We block domains platform-wide, which protects everyone at once.

Handles and display names that impersonate linkva.se or our staff are blocked at registration. For impersonation of a person or organisation, report the page and tell us who is being impersonated. Notable accounts can be given a verified badge, which makes impersonation attempts obvious at a glance.

For copyright complaints, court orders and law-enforcement requests, email legal@linkva.se with enough detail to identify the specific page or link. Please don't use the in-product report button for these — it routes to content moderation, not to legal.
